Where is this event taking place?
Primarily on our Twitter! We’ll also be announcing a collection on Ao3 for writing submissions, so stay tuned for that in the future.
What kind of content is allowed?
Dottolone week is open to art (digital, traditional, cosplay, animations, etc.) and writing (Twitter threadfics, AO3 fics).
Can my content be NSFW?
Absolutely! This is an NSFW-friendly event. We only ask that, if your art is extremely explicit, you use Twitter’s sensitive content flag as a courtesy to other users.For threadfics please indicate in the top tweet if a work is NSFW/Explicit. For AO3 fic promos, please indicate the fic rating (Gen, Teen, Mature, or Explicit).
Does this event allow switch content?
Yes! We use Dottolone as the more common ship name, but we encourage any dynamic between the two of them. Feel free to use the Panttore tag on relevant works as well. Just make sure you still use #Dottoloneweek so we can see and reshare your posts!
Is dead dove content allowed?
Dead dove content is allowed but all pieces must be appropriately tagged. Images featuring dead dove content must use Twitter’s sensitive content flags. Dead dove threadfics must include content warnings in the first tweet (and the first tweet should not be explicit). Links to AO3 fics must similarly note if there is dead dove content.Untagged dead dove works will not be reshared!
Can I submit works in a language other than English?
Yes! We want to support fans regardless of language.However, for moderation purposes we ask that, in accordance with the rules above, tags be provided in English in addition to the language in which you're posting. This way, mods can re-share and/or add your pieces to the AO3 collection!
Are other pairings allowed?
The main pairing should be Panttore or Dottolone. If you want to throw a Segment in there though... the more the merrier.References to past relationships for worldbuilding is fair game as long as they're tagged and the focus is the relationship between Pantalone and Dottore.
